Summary and conclusions
As we will have experienced, if we choose to live inside of the organization of society and its rules, we inevitably see ourselves involved with the theme of money and we will always need of it as a means of exchange of goods and services. According to what has previously been said, it is better to try to develop our relation with money in the most advantageous and intelligent way possible. In our culture a concept has been spread pejorative concept has been spread about the accumulation of money and even more, about speculation. This concept has its origin in the influence of biblical tradition. However we can see that even though the words of Christ have a lot of critical affirmations about riches and material possessions, he did not criticize riches or the rich people as such, but rather condemned the unmeasured attachment to riches that made people forget about their ethic principles completely. Giving up riches is not the command, but putting it at the service of the needs of others is. Riches are usually expressed as the accumulation of money or equal goods. Money symbolizes the fruit of human effort. It can allow us to do w things that cannot be bought with it, like for example give us freedom. Liberty and independence to make earnings everyday is the biggest luxury one can aspire to. A real millionaire is the person’s whose capital or rent does not depend on anybody, and is sufficient to satisfy his or her needs and aspirations. Success, fame, money or power, all have in common the property of not guaranteeing genuine satisfaction. The race to get money will only make sense if this contributes to achieving peace and happiness. Money has a strange quality of changing its value for people. There will be times when we lose sense of its amount and consider that $1000 can be a very small amount, as we can also consider it to be a large amount. In any case, it is always advisable to have the given respect for money, because it is work and energy condensed in that form.
