Is the present prevailing appraisal the right one?
In the whole issue of the image of an industry, the problem of the investor is normally always the same one. He needs to ask himself if the present prevailing appraisal one that is more favourable, less favourable or is it around the same as the one justified by the basic facts of the economy? There are times in which this can bring up a very big problem and even to the most refined investors. There is one thing that cannot be highlighted on enough and that is that a conservative investor needs to be conscious of the nature of the appraisal of the financial community in any industry the investor is interested in. a conservative investor needs to continuously be testing to see if that appraisal is more or less favourable than the fundamentals warrant it to be. This is the only way that an investor can be realistically certain about one of the different variables that will preside over the long term trend of the market prices of stocks inside of that industry.
